The Committed Way

The word 'commit' means
to 'deliver into another's charge'. It involves one person giving
the rights, the authority, the responsibility to another
person. Thus, when something is committed it becomes a
fixed, settled matter. In the Christian's life, commitment
involves the Lord and the believer. Here the struggle often
begins. It has been said: "If He is not Lord of all.
He is not Lord at all."
First we commit, then trust and always praise! (I Thess. 5:16-18;
Phil. 4:6). Find the way of commitment. Let go and
believe God. Begin to praise Him for what He will do.
It is the way to win souls. It is the way to find
deliverance. IT is the way to find entrance into the
solutions to life's problems. It is the way to find
guidance. It is the way to be controlled with the Holy
spirit. The reality of the committed life must become our
daily experience! -- Henry Teichrob |

We
often refer to our ministry as that of being a R.E.M.
ministry - a ministry of revival, evangelism
and missions. There are many components to
the ministry that our Lord has called us to, such as:
-
Children's Ministry
-
Special Music Ministry
-
Revival Meetings and Campaigns
-
Prayer Ministry
-
Prison Ministry
-
Street Evangelism
-
Mission Work
